- ➤ Nonprofits focused on early childhood education were invited to apply Tuesday for one of two grants totaling $2 million offered by the Dr. Seuss Foundation and San Diego Foundation. - ➤ Local high school basketball teams played from Jan. 15 to Jan. 19, with Orange Glen beating Escondido Adventist Academy 56 to 45 and Victory Christian besting Cathedral Catholic 74 to 64.
