  • Today, the owner of the Del Mar Fairgrounds launched a public outreach campaign — part of the Fairgrounds 2050 plan — to ask local residents and government officials for ideas on the future of the Fairgrounds, Surf and Turf Recreation Center, and Del Mar Horsepark. The campaign will include a survey, presentations to city councils and other groups, public workshops in each county district, and expert advice to plan for 324 acres.  NBC San Diego
