San Diego County's average gas price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline reached $6.012 Tuesday, marking the first time prices have crossed $6 since U.S. tensions with Iran raised oil costs.
The price is 16 cents higher than last week and 42 cents below the record set in 2022.
