Clean Energy Alliance approved its first strategic plan in April to guide new clean energy programs and renewable projects over the next two fiscal years.

The plan, developed with community input from towns like Escondido, sets clear steps for affordable energy and local growth—ensuring a fair transition for all.

Construction crews are making progress on the Escondido Creek Trail as they repair cracks, perform seal coating, and install cable railings and new walkways over the next two weeks—trail users will encounter temporary and eight-hour closures with a possible 24-hour closure on the north trail. Flaggers will guide users during these disruptions while crews complete improvements such as installing steel fence posts and trenching for electrical systems.
