- ➤ After a private jet crashed into a Murphy Canyon military community last Thursday, 42 military families were displaced by jet fuel contamination and loss of essentials. The nonprofit STEP is providing emergency supplies, counseling, and long-term financial guidance to help rebuild these families' lives + ensure a stable recovery. NBC San Diego

- ➤ Senate Minority Leader Brian W. Jones honored Archie’s Pantry in Ramona as Senate District 40 Nonprofit of the Year today and presented a certificate to its founder Marcie Laws-Hayes at the Senate. The award marks the pantry’s work helping neighbors with food, clothing + other essential items. The Vista Press
