The county Board of Supervisors voted four to one Tuesday to approve a program that trains small business owners and employees on their rights during ICE raids using multilingual sessions, checklists and sample protocols.

Board Chair Terra Lawson-Remer said the measure was introduced after a recent ICE raid at Buona Forchetta in May that raised concerns about government overreach — a move aimed at protecting local businesses.
