  • The county Board of Supervisors voted four to one Tuesday to approve a program that trains small business owners and employees on their rights during ICE raids using multilingual sessions, checklists and sample protocols. Board Chair Terra Lawson-Remer said the measure was introduced after a recent ICE raid at Buona Forchetta in May that raised concerns about government overreach — a move aimed at protecting local businesses.  NBC San Diego

  • In June, the California Association of Realtors reported that housing sales in San Diego county dropped 3.9% from May while statewide sales increased 4% to an annualized 264,260, and home prices fell in both areas with the county median dropping to $1.025 million from $1.05 million—experts expect a market rebound later this year.  NBC San Diego
  • In June, home sales in San Diego County fell 3.9% from May as median prices dropped from $1.05 million to $1.025 million—while statewide sales rose 4% to a seasonally adjusted rate of 264,260 homes.
