- ➤ The Palomar RC Flyers Club found a new airstrip in Valley Center—on 435 acres owned by Spanish Valley Ranch—after losing its former field to development. The club will hold an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. at 14000 Cole Grade Road and will offer free flying lessons and lunch to welcome new members. CBS8
