- ➤ Paul Donn, a silverback gorilla, has returned to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park today to rejoin the troop he was raised in after the previous silverback died last year—joining a 44-year-old female gorilla named Jessica; visitors can now view the troop in the Gorilla Forest. CBS8
- ➤ An immersive Elephant Valley exhibit will let visitors walk among elephants and learn about their roles as ecosystem engineers. The project features pathways lined with over 350 African savanna plants, a two-story restaurant called Mkutano House, and a gathering area known as Mkutano Park—opening in early 2026. NBC San Diego

- ➤ The Padres beat the Giants Tuesday night by a score of five to one + home runs by Jose Iglesias and Jackson Merrill moved them into a tie with the Dodgers at 68 to 52.
