  • Senate Minority Leader Brian W. Jones passed SB525 to give mobile home owners full replacement cost insurance, and the bill now moves to the governor's desk—protecting over 500,000 residents from future disaster losses.  The Vista Press

  • County health officials said that last year nearly 40,000 flu cases led to 220 deaths—7 among children—and they warned that low vaccination rates may worsen the upcoming flu season for older adults, children under 2, pregnant women and those with chronic conditions.  NBC San Diego

  • A new report by Cotality Insurance Solutions shows that thousands of inland homes in San Diego County are at high wildfire risk—raising insurance costs for homeowners.
