GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Immigrants face new uncertainty as closed migration cases are being reprogrammed under new federal policies—lawyers say many who once were considered safe now risk rapid deportation. • City staff reported a wastewater billing error—rates since spring 2024 were based on old water use data which caused some customers to be overcharged or undercharged. • Today, local fire officials and SDG&E leaders met at the SDG&E Emergency Operations Center to discuss a coordinated plan for the coming wildfire season.
