Downtown is buzzing with holiday events as the Christmas Parade kicks off at 7 p.m. and the Holiday Tree Lighting starts at 5:30 p.m. today, while holiday markets, a roller rink, and a Winter Wonderland Festival are scheduled for the weekend.

Escondido's Photographer’s Eye Collective is hosting an auction of 27 donated fine art photographs (including Pulitzer Prize winner Don Bartletti) as its annual fundraiser.
