- ➤ On Monday, a 5.2 earthquake shook San Diego County and SDSU scientists said they discovered new fault lines, underwater landslides and tsunami triggers during a 12-day cruise aboard the Sally Ride. - ➤ More than $23 million went to the San Diego River Conservancy for wildfire prevention projects as Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 100 on Monday, part of a $170 million statewide funding round.
